Did I get a good deal on my G35 sedan?

I just bought a 05 G35 sedan with 38k miles on it for $14900 ($16600 total after ridiculous 8.75% tax and a few hundred bucks DMV fees).

it has premium package plus keyless go (or whatever you'd call it), 18" wheels from the sport package and memory seat settings. no navi and brembo brakes, no scratch nor dents on exterior. last owner was a smoker.

did I get a good deal?

First, let me be the first to welcome you to the G community.

I think you could of gotten a slightly better deal, especially with this economy, but not by much. As long as you're happy, there's no point in looking back in retrospect and thinking about what could have been, or what should have been. What's done is done.

Now, go enjoy the car, and let the modding begin!

I think you got a good deal. I bought an 05 LS coupe 2 weeks ago that is loaded with everything but nav, and paid $15600. She has 46000 miles, has the sport and premium packages, and is in mint condition. Just got it back from the dealer, had the window regulator bolts in both back doors replaced to stop rattles in the windows, replaced o ring behind the oil cooler to stop small leak, and replaced 2 clips in the engine that held down the air intake. Total out the door charge to me was $54.32. And I got to drive an 07 sedan for the day. Nice car, very peppy, but I think I like my car better.

Have fun with your new toy!!

that's a pretty fair price, you probably could have gotten an '06 for $2k more. But this car should last you at least another 160k miles.........

congrats on the car. Yeah brembos were never offered on the sedans, only 03-04 coupes.
