Yeah, what I am worried about is getting the TS ECU reflash and then having the dealer do the reflash on the TCM and having my TS software wiped out...are you saying that's not an issue b/c the TS software is on the ECU vs. the TCM soffware that I would get the AL004 firmware on?

in fact that's precise;y what i did. It only updates the TCM, although (and don't let this scare you), the ConsultII is gonna have "Updating ECM" on the screen, but it's upgrading the TCM (trust me).

EDIT: Unless of course the tech uploads the ECU program instead of the TCM program onto the consult II for the upgrade!

Cool...DaveO thinks I may already have the AL004 software, but I was telling him after taking like 4 pics and looking all over my TCM I can't find a damn thing that tells me AL00? so I am lost on that one.

Man, what an awful feeling it was to rip out my ECU, pack it up, and ship it off to CA yesterday...I am trying not to think about it. lol

heheh don't worry about it, it only feels like that the very first time.

If you go to the dealer, a consult 2 will bringup the version number in a snap

I figured that about the TS deally...mine is actually on its way back...the whole thing better be worth it b/c to not get a discount or anything and to pay $620 with shipping for something that I can do myself via Hypertech with my Denali for $320 is a lot of coin!!!
