alternator mounting bolt nut?

I was under my car and noticed the top bolt that mount the alternator doesnt have a nut on the back side of it, should it? If so is it one of those special nuts that has a lip on it to stop it from spinning and if so where can i get one? If its just a regular nut what is the thread and pitch so I can go to lowes and pick one up? Thanks

There is no nut on the back side of the alternator, the engine block mounting point is threaded.

I'm not sure if you could easily see the "back side of it" like you said, because everything is pretty close together. I'm sure you would of had to examine it for a little while to see the part you were referring to.

I was looking in that area pretty closely because I have a vibration coming from there and I was trying to pin point whats causing it. I thought the alternator might be lose without a nut on the backside.
