New owner G35 - Few questions on flip key/double din kit/back up camere/intake

Just purchase a 03 g35 sedan this past week...and just sold my a4 and the aftermarket parts i bought for it recently and got the modding bug alrdy for the g35....... Ive been browsing around this site for a good month learning what ppl are doing in there cars and got a few question before i purchase this items:...

First thing i wanna get is the flip key remote since i only got 1, but im having doubts on this seller on ebay who sells it, so has anyone bought any flip key for the g35 from this seller before? hows the flip key remote workin condition?

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=160326603798

Second thing, i just got the pioneer z3 and i wanna get the double din kit from this ebay seller, i have asked him alrdy on the quality of there climate control he sells with the kit and he assures me its works perfectly, so again has anyone purchase this kit from this seller before? hows the climate control unit holding up?

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=360125917959

third thing, back up camera...search but couldnt find exactly on the how to: on the wiring all i got is a purple wire but there is 3 purple wires...im just wondering has anyone did do a DIY on this wiring issue, i would like to install the wiring to the trunk instead of running in all the way to the front.

last thing would be the intake system:

z-tube with pop charger w/o filter
stillen hi flow air box w/ kn filter
fujita short ram air intake complete

anybody can recommend me a perfect one....all three is basiclly the same price and have research on them alrdy but just wanna know the aftermaths reviews on each one if u have them on ur car

thanks

alot of questions but I can only answer your double din question

yes that will work with your climate control

there is a JDM verison which looks better to some
you have to buy the ac controls seperate

metra = $200ish
JDM with ac controls = $300ish

I might try to touch the air filter

I use a drop in K&N and it works great. The stock air box is great.
About the only thing you gain is the sound....you may gain minimal HP but you wont notice it

posts like this are why people who have knowledge leave the forum.

backup camera is another tool to help. some people park at work in tight spaces and dont always have people to help them back in out/out.

and ALOT of SUVs and trucks benefit from this being that they are large vehicles , but I guess only noobs don't know this

Yea a lot of SUV and truck drivers have cameras because they have a major blindspot behind their cars. People have been backing up with out using a camera up until the last few years. I'm just saying as a first mod why would you waste the time on this, it isn't necessary.

No mod is "necessary".

Blaze was looking for information about a backup camera, not opinions on it. If you don't want to help him, then don't respond. And he does have a perfectly valid reason for having one. Just because you don't know what they're used for doesn't make them NOOB or make Blaze lazy, it just makes you look ignorant.

Blaze, for an intake you should consider just getting an OEM Z-Tube and a drop in filter. The POP is more prone to heatsoak and the Stillen airbox isn't any more efficient than the already efficient stock box. Save the money and add a Rev-up airbox to the Z-tube/filter combo for a sweet intake note, all for less than any of the 3 intakes you're considering.

If you want the camera on when the car is on:
-Wire it to any 12v power source.

If you want the camera on when reverse only:
-Wire it to reverse light.

For the camera switch wire from your head unit, just tap it to the reverse light fuse.

Obviously you're too young or too ignorant to understand time zones. It was 6:15 AM where I live when I posted my reply. I am a district manager for a restaurant company, run 7 stores, and work 60 hours a week. If you check the majority of my posts, they are before 8 AM or after 6 PM my time. To help you out since you obviously don't get the conversion, that's 6 AM and 4 PM your time. Do I enjoy spending some of my day on here to relax, hell yes!!! So the F what.

A wise man once said "It is better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and confirm it." You would be wise to heed this advice. So unless you have something positive to add to this thread STFU

Well if you ALREADY think that I am a fool, WHY NOT voice my opinion?
