Debadge HELP!!!

I know, this should be simple, heat + dental floss = debadged

Well, it was/is not that simple for me. I have one spot behind the 3 that chipped off and I cannot get the last bit of adheisive off the rest of the letter/numbers. You can still see the outline. Or, maybe my car was repainted/reclearcoated with the emblems on still? I cannot tell. I went so far as using extreme adhesive remover good off and still cannot get the outline to go away.

I think I have to re-badge. Then, if so, can I just buy more adheisive and use what I have? Anyone know where to buy it? Or do I just eat the $40 and buy new ones?

Pics to follow once I figure out how to resize.

Thanks

Yeah, that looks bad. A good round of serious polish (with a buffer) and then wax will help get rid of a lot but I doubt all of it. I still have a little on mine but I put my "Twin Turbo" emblem over it.

Just go twin turbo like Tim did and buy the "Twin Turbo" emblem..problem solved!

I think the only way you are going to get it off is if you do like Tim suggested...some buffing. Goo Gone worked both times I did mine.

Try some Goo-gone and then claybar after.

If it still looks like crap.....go buy another "G35" emblem and put it back on

most people like to make the car unique or just different period. Plus I think it is a cheap looking emblem.

I have nothing on my car.
