Cheap Chicago Synthetic Change?

Hey, anybody know where I can get the cheapest (good) synthetic oil change. I was going to go with Castrol Syntec, but I'm told synthetic can be pretty cheap if you know where to go.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Cheap isn't necessarily better.
Watch what oil brand they are using.
A lot of so called synthetics are dino blends. IMO they are pretty much a waste of $. You might just as well use a good dino oil.
If you are going to go to synth, I would recommend one of the premium 100% synthetics like;
Motul, Mobil 1, Amsoil etc.

Borla TD, Z-tube, Eibach, 35%Tints</font color=blue>

It depends on what side of town you are on. I know out south I go to the Beverly Penzoil (101st & Western) You can sams or whatever and buy your oil then bring it there to get it changed. They have always charged me $14.00 for the oil change when I did that with Synthetic with my old car. I kinda like the ritual of the ohh and ahhh now when I go so I run basic oil so they get the boost of confidence more often But I am pretty sure any oil change place will do that for you

I like to use Mobil 1, about 23 bucks at Costco for a case of 6. Anywhere else like autozone, pepboys, ive seen them going for about 5 bucks a bottle.

Walmart has the 5 qt. jug of Mobil1 5-30 for about $19 and change. I just take it to the dealer and they discount the difference. Switched to M1 5-30 at 2200 miles at the first change, and have changed at 7500 mile intervals ever since. With 39000 miles now, she runs better than ever.

Re: Cheap Chicago Synthetic Change?

$49 for a oil change sounds too much for me...rather do it myself...
Get 5qt of Mobile 1 @ Walmart -19.98
and Pure 1 filter - 4.99
= $24 dollars saved
