I'm getting LEDs too. I need a license plate bulb, so I might as well put LEDs back there, and while I'm ordering, might as well get some for the doors and map lights. And ambers for my clear corners. I'll pass on the glove boxes and trunk for now. OK, maybe the trunk, but that's it. I'm only buying 9 bulbs. I'm buying 9 bulbs because one of the two $2 license plate bulbs burned out. A bulb I could get replaced under my warranty.

Maybe I should rethink this.

Dude, it starts with the lic plate lights, then the next thing you know, your like me and ahve dropped a lot of cash on LEDs and there isnt a single bulb left in your car that isnt a LED haha

I did my map box, glove box, under the doors, map lights, rear map lights, trunk, clear corners, lic plate lights, uhh, i think thats every bulb in the car.

I know it starts with just one, that's what I'm afraid of!! I'm going to do it eventually, at least the 9 I mentioned, but that's a decent amount of cash and I've got more important upgrades to do (tires, brakes). But I'll notice these more! (self-restraint, don't be impulsive, go to your happy place, that's better)

Every bulb, pshaaww! Maybe they just don't use turn signals up there in Minnehaha.

The courtesys only turn on when the door is open. If you look, there's a button-looking thing on the doorjam opposite of the hinge side. Press that button, and the courtesy light underneath the door will shut off (hence why they shut off when the door is shut and pressed up against that button)

Personally, I think they look great, especially if you switch the bulbs to LEDs which match the exterior color keep them! But if you hate them that much, just pop the bulbs out. Simple solution

Here's mine

I'm all over V-LEDS.com right now making a list of the ones I want. I'm going blue on the doors and I'll see how it looks in the map lights before I order those. White for license (obviously) and white in the trunk (glove boxes too when I get to them).

Janik, how do you like them in your reverse lights? Do they light up nice and evenly at night? I see this idiot who has blue L.E.D's in his reverse lights and i watched him reverse, those things didnt light the road up for ****, and looked really bad on his AUDI.

Dude.. the License Plate LED that VLEDS has also works excellent in the trunk... gives a great full white light in the trunk space!

+1 on the trunk light.

If possible, get the SMD LED's, they are brighter and whiter than standard LED's.

I think i got a 6-LED board for the trunk. I had to take the cover off because it was so big, but when i open the trunk it's bright as hell! Looks good.

I also have the 50W LED's for the reverse lights. Not as bright as OEM, but they are plenty bright that i can see them light up stuff behind my car even through tint
