Loose RV Mirror

I have been noticing when it's hot, my rearview mirror vibrates, like something has loosened up due to the heat, but I made sure the hex screw was tight, and it still "wiggles" anyone else have this and maybe a fix for it? LOL, besides winter weather!

Re: Loose RV Mirror

I live in Phx....and my rear view doesnt get loose in the heat....it only vibrates when I crank the stereo on songs with a lot of bass. Have you talked to the dealership??

No, not yet, it's just started doing that, I may swing by there some hot day and show it to them! Is your's the mirror with HomeLink in it? Bass huh, well, I think that is actually your rear window vibrating! Phoenix, huh, LOL, it's probably welded itself to the other pieces, your heat makes NM look cold!

Re: Loose RV Mirror

I've given up on my rearview mirror. Mine shakes to bad that it is always angled all the way down. I'm just making a "wild" guess that it is from the 15" subwoofer in my trunk.

Re: Loose RV Mirror

No I dont have the home link on my G...I did have it on my Murano before I traded it in for the G...I kinda miss that feature. By the way...my mirror does vibrate from the bass. Especially when I crank the Black-eyed Peas....

Re: Loose RV Mirror

I wonder if the mirror with HomeLink is a lot heavier than without, is yours an auto-dimming mirror? Not sure if you can have one without the other or not. I'm not a "stereo cranker", don't have it quiet either, but I will see if the stereo has anything to do with the "shakes" LOL!
