i heard Ttrank is gonna get a widebody like that eventually and i dont think any1 here doubts what hes capable of :-D

 

 

i went to one of my local paint wiz, he custom me a black color, but it has **** load of pearls inside, and boy, IT MADE MY MOUTH DROP! it's like pitch black and silver pearls in it, sparkly!

 

it kind of remind me of the body kit they made for the older m3s' the wide body fenders are hot! i was actually waiting for a manufacture to make it! that kit looks good, but imagine the over fenders on a gialla corsa?

 

shop called me today... said "nows the time to make the decision on color"... I thought I had till weekend

Anyway, I've looked around - paint codes in catalogs, other cars on the road, customs colors on this forum... I'm not kidding, I don’t see a color I love so much better than DG So I told them keep the color the same… the few people that know what I’m doing all say “color change, color change”… I guess because now would be the time to do it – and/or I’m so far into what’s going on I might as well color change too… I just hope I don’t end up regretting my decision later – but I’d feel like an idiot with a color I like less.

If you are going to keep it DG, have them add a few more layers since our paint is thin anyways, then a few layers of clear. Then add some kind of gray or black pearl and then clear it some more. I believe that is what my buddy did on his car. When you looked at it directly in most light it was factory color, but when you walked around it it changed. When you got up close and looked at the paint from an angle, you could see the pearl color suspended from the paint. It looked badass. If I am wrong about how to go about the effect, pardon me, it has been 7 years since seeing that car.
