I looked down and my snow button was on?

I hope I did mess anything up. I was driving normally in my G35X and I looked down and my snow button light was on. I went about 65 or 70 MPH. I did not notice any difference in the way the car handled. I could not have driven long like that but could I have damaged something? There are no symptoms of any damage I was just a little surprised when I saw the green light on because I have not really experimented with it on before.
Does anyone know anything about this stuff?
I did not conduct a search on this so shoot me now if necessary.

Happy to own my G35X

No worries ... you're fine ... except you've just lost your warranty. Just kidding. Really ... you're fine.

As long as you did not make it snow you will be fine.

The only thing that you did was give yourself more traction on take off. On dry pavement you would not know any diff.

All the button does is lock the torque split 50:50 and 'desensitize' the throttle to minimize wheelspin.
No damage was done, as it reverts to normal operation after a certain speed (15 mph? 25 mph?)
I even tried the snow switch at the dragstrip.....no difference at all

ChicagoX,
Sounds like a good way to launch.........Did the times improve even marginally in snow mode, or is it too intrusive?

Nissan should really provide a light in the dash indicating the button is on. As it is now, it's very difficult to notice whether the button is on, especially with the shifter blocking the view.

GSM,

My times were exactly the same to the 1000th of a second through the short times (330 ft) with the snow mode on. I dont have enough HP with the AWD to spin the tires!!!
The stock launch is 25% front 75% rear anyway, so it hooks up well already. This thing is a bracket racing monster, with slip after slip within a hundredth or two of each other.
