if you are talking about the ikey, yes they will work. you cannot program it yourself. it usually costs around $100-$150 to program. too bad you already paid retail at the dealership.

I posted a link to reprogram the remotes a couple of times. Let me see if I can find it to post again. It is so simple to do. I cannot believe the dealerships charge what they do to have it done.

Instructions are also available on www.infinitihelp.com

Definitely works. I bought a remote on ebay for $15 and it came with instructions on how to program. Worked perfectly.

yeah, that's for the fobs... i was hoping that there was a way to program the non i-keys... i had heard there was. just don't really know where to look, all the googling i've done is either for fobs or junk sites.

i'm pretty sure the chip in the keys have to be done at the dealership.

That is correct. The keys do need to be reprogrammed at the dealership.

Followed the instructions on the link from Infinitihelp, not successful. Any tips? I thought the directions were straightforward but I tried it 4 times and no luck.

if you're talking ikey, i don't think there is a solution. i searched forever and couldn't find anything other than people telling me i need to take it in to the dealership. i have been told that it requires dealership software and hardware to reprogram ikeys.

Called up an Infiniti dealer in Nashua, NH, charging me $40 to reprogram all the ikeys.
