No, brake pads and rotors are considered normal wear items. Now, if you had a sticking caliper that would be a different story.

Do they need to be replaced or can they be resurfaced?

Everythingg35 has the fronts at around $85 a piece and the rears at around $65 for the factory. Others are a little cheaper. I would PM Rick at Riverside as he might be able to get you a better price.

I dont know yet if they need to be replaced or resurfaced. But i know something is wrong because of the vibration and bouncing when i brake. If they need to be resurfaced does the warranty cover that? or they dont mess with the brakes at all?

Pads and rotors are normal wear items and are not covered under warranty.

I had a lot of shaking when braking when i first got the car. The dealer told me that they would resurface for free only if there was more then 40% pad life left. Of course, they told me that there wasn't and charged me $270 for the front and $270 for the rear. Car stops like a champ now.
As for the pads, I would say go for Hawk pads from Tire rack. Better performance for cheaper then stock. Good Luck!

I think I must be the luckiest owner in terms of brakes. I bought my 06 with 28k from an independent dealer. Very soon after purchase I noticed some shaking in the wheel while braking as well as some odd pedal feel. I brought it to infiniti and they put front and rear rotors on under warranty. I only had to pay for the pads. I was bewildered and ecstatic.

You got charged $540 to resurface your rotors? That's a HUGE ripoff. You could have easily purchased new, better than stock rotors for that kind of money and installed them yourself.
