Hi,

My airbag warning light keeps coming on. I have done some person mods myself to my car. I don't know what i did. I basically detached my rear seats, my passenger seat, everything below the glove box, center counsel and the two side plastic things that cover up the seat belts. Anyone help me out and tell me what is wrong? I don't want to take it to the dealer and them saying crap!

 

Are you saying you took out the passenger seat and left it out? There are sensors in the seat connected to the SRS for the sole purpose to let the airbag know how to fire. If you have the passenger seat out ... I would expect you to have the warning light coming on. If you are saying you took out but put these items back in then you have a loose connection or forgot to plug something back in. Good luck finding it.

What is a "person mod"? I would think that would be just changing girlfriends. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] And if you have to remove all the seats to get her in, you need to be driving something a lot bigger.

 

lol, i meant personal mod. Like i did it myself. Yeah having a hard time finding it. I think i'll let the dealer handle that!

 

Probably a connector you forgot to hook up. Let the dealer connect his Consult 2 to see where the issue is. good luck
