i need help finding a mod for high speeds
You are gonna need more Horsepower if you really want to hit 200MPH.
Are you taking it out on a salt flat or something? Or you gonna try this on a public highway?
To be honest, everything that would make a difference is ugly and you would prob not want to drive on the street with your car looking like that. I'm talking about removing the side mirrors, taping up every seams and body panel so that air flows smoothly over and running flat disk-style wheels.
And like i said, you'll need more HP. A lot of these street-legal 200MPH cars have 450+ RWHP.

BUT, i am not sure if the gearing in the 5at is set up for 200mph. We should ask Tim what his Max's out at. Maybe hes done it on a dyno before, or something. I'd like to see if even a 6mt could get there.
Assuming this is on the track! You would need to turn the boost way up assuming that your motor can take it. I would suggest getting the widest wheels and tires you can, and the stickiest tires, and a good working suspension.
Probably gonna have to crank up the boost a little on the turbos.

Mine is at 201mph in 6th gear if I had more power.

The problem isn't gearing...it's wind resistance. On a dyno there is none, so you could easily spin the rollers up past 200 if gearing allows.
Out in the real world, wind resistance increases exponentially. When you get up near 150-160MPH, it becomes very tough to increase speed past that. I could see a modified street car getting into the 160-170MPH range with mods (on a track of course), but passing that and inching up near 200MPH is not going to be that easy. I'm still guessing he'll need at least 400-450 rwHP to even have a shot.
All this is on a track of course for this discussion.
Probably going to need more than that. Speed Channel did a run to 200mph and some of the exotics couldn't do it. IMHO 200mph with a G35 sedan is going to need 550hp at the wheels.
And something OTHER than ebay or oem spoilers. And something OTHER than the flavor of the month coilovers.

I agree.
The G's Zero Lift design was designed for legal highway speeds. Who knows what it will do at high speeds. A LOT of factory street cars start to lift around 150MPH and as a result many are limited to 155 or so. Going on ebay and buying a spoiler is not going to fix this. You need hours in a wind tunnel

IMHO, those two supercars have way superior aero and suspensions. it's one thing to have the power to get to 200mph (although it would take an eternity if it's even possible), it's quite another to go 200mph and not die.
very true. OP, don't try it. you might kill yourself! (i'm not being facetious, either)
The hp needed to get to 120mph to 130mph is vastly different then the hp to get from 160-170. And that's vastly different than the hp to get from 180-190 mph etc... The hp required exponentialy increases.
