Ok i I have an 05 AT Sedan. Reeks of Gas through the AC vents. and when I park my car in the garage. Go in the house for 10 min and come back out the whole garage now smells of gas too. It smells like ALOT of gas too not like you can barely smell it but you can DEF smell it. Why would this be happened.

O ya gas mileage is really bad as well

Las Vegas NV 110 degree heat if that info helps.

okay well i took it into an auto shop lets see what they gotta say. According to the dealership when I called they said it could be when it gets above 110 degrees outside it expands the gas tank and could cause this issue.

Hit the recirculation button and/or park it elsewhere to see if the smell is still there.

I'll cosign that^, take it to the dealer instead of having them diagnose it over the phone

Light a match....the flame will lead you to the root cause of the smell.

This is a safety issue. Gas vapors are explosive. Take it to a mechanic...your car should not vent fumes at any temperature.

I dont really recall sounded like mumble jumble to me. But what I did get is something happened to where Gas got EVERYWHERE where it was not supposed to be. I think he said in Valves and stuff like that and charcal filter or something like that. And ruined a bunch of parts. they had to take the whole tank out.

No clue how this was caused he thinks I overfill my tank at gas stations like after it clicks out I click it back in for a sec to get extra gas but nope never done that. So no clue.

No car for the week ordering 3 new parts from infiniti and going to replace them and they think that should cover it! They say there is a possibility it could of damaged some other things under the tank so there going to take out the tank flip it and check all under there to make sure everything is okay under there
