Brakes? on 05 G35x

When should the brakes be replaced on an 05 G35x
I just purchase it about 5 months ago and the brakes are squeaky and super dusty but they seem to stop well.

38,000 miles

I also need an alignment and balancing, should I do my brakes first. (PS the brakes will be done by me)

And I need a new intake filter, might just get the popcharger

I don't understand if this is a "Certified Infiniti" why it needs all this crap.

i believe because as long as it passes the minimum specs, they certify it.

Are you sure they didn't put new brakes on when they certified it? Mine got all new pads, new front rotors, and resurfaced rear rotors before I even bought it.

I would just check the thickness on the pads and see how much is left.

Cerified should come with decent pad life left. But it all depends on the driver.

Everything you listing is wear and tear items that is never covered by any warranty, orginal or aftermarket.

I suggest you do your brakes first as you can cause injuries due to brake failure but not an alignment or balancing failure. I dont have a comment on the intake filter as i run stock and is more then happy with it.

03-05x brakes are all the same, they are VERY dusty in the fronts but that is because they stop very very well. Its kinda like a give and take. You want less dust your going to stop less. You want more stopping power, well then you going to have brake dust.

Infiniti has one of the best Certified programs out there. They do far more then check for minimum specs because they don't want to lose money on the car later with a large repair or a series of smaller ones.
