I'm going 6K for mine when i get some extra cash.

I have a feeling not all aftermarket bulb manufacturers are precise when thy claim the k value of their bulbs. I have a feeling it's more of a sense of "close enough" and they just slap 8K on a bulb that really measures 6.5K or something like that. I have an aftermarket 8K HID kit that is just way too blue for my liking.

Xentec is a good brand, and their kits only cost like 60 bucks, I tried to cheap out and ordered another brand of 8000K for my low beams just cuz it was cheaper and they look like a little less K that the xentec, the xentec are a bit whiter/bluer

I like my Philips Ultinons, wouldn't go higher than 6000K. I like the LEDs in the kuruma, not so much the others. Not much you can do with our fugly 03-04 non-Nismo bumpers but replacce 'em (though I do have an idea I will try someday)
