Can I use the cruise control yet? I have just over 1000 miles and I am going away on business to Mass. From NJ to Mass I would like to use the cruise control on this 41/2 hour trip. What do you think?

I think the "break-in" period ends at around 1200 miles..

You're far enough up in the break-in that it should be fine. You probably should adjust the speed of the car every 15 minutes until you hit 1200, though, to keep the RPMs from running at a constant level. Knocking it back into 4th for 15 minutes would vary the RPMs too, if running the engine that much higher doesn't bother you.
