installing M3 mirrors on an 03 sedan

so i had the luxury of being parked outside my kids house (for about 10 minutes) and come out to find that my drivers side mirror was side swipped and hanging off, after some research and over whelming prices for 1 mirror the easiest way out was buying M3 mirrors, has anyone done this change and know how to hook up the new mirrors like the bolts and wiring etc. any advice would help...thanks

I am guessing you mean these:

Not my taste, but to each his/her own.

They are too small. The G sedan's mirrors are already too small for the car.

They probably will not fit and the wiring won't be there for an led. You will also lose power mirrors and heated mirrors.

those are the mirrors i purchased in the pic, the black ones i know there not the best taste to us G drivers but i was on a really tight budget and driving around with only my passenger mirror it left me no choice i just needed to know if anybody has done this before cause the wiring seems a little difficult, i didn't have heated mirrors to begin with only power if that helps out at all

they're called "M3" mirrors for a reason. and the G is not a civic.

good luck moutning it up, wonder what it will look like. our mirrors are too small but they work well. i'd hate bigger mirrors like those of the new Lexus IS

OP, you were short on cash, totally understandable and you are doing the right thing by putting on mirrors rather than changing lanes blind. If you like the way they look after they are installed, post pics. Also you can then sell the one that isn't broken to cut your losses. If you don't like them keep the unbroken one and save up till you can afford the factory replacement.

I've been thinking about the same thing. My drivers side bracket broke. I have it epoxied and it's holding but I'm afraid that even the slightest bump will break it and the braket isn't sold by it's self. I would love to see how they look.
