I need help with my head unit

Hey guys, im pretty new to this forum but i always been an avid reader...

I recently ran into a problem with my head unit, one day it just shut off. basically what ever setting i left it on last was the settings for good!!

Thank god the AC was still on when it was last on, but radio was on low (i could still change it via steering wheel controls but any buttons i would press on the head unit wouldn't do anything.) I was told the circuit was fried or something along those lines.

So i bought a stock head unit from a store and got it installed (btw i have a tan colored interior and the new head unit was black but it still look nice) After few months everything worked perfectly AC buttons worked, radio worked, everything lit up. but just recently i notice a new problem...

When playing a CD and driving sometimes when i brake, the music (i think only affect the front two speakers on the door) it would shift the music to the left speaker or vice versa. Adding to that some times it would make the music really quiet as if it was being muffled... but this only happens when im in CD mode radio works fine...

anyone been through this? any advice/ tips would be greatly appreciated....

P.S. Its a 2003 G35 sedan...i can add videos if it can help distinguish the problem...
