I have the 2005 G35 sedan repair manual in pdf format. I use it when working on my 2006. PM me and I can send you a link to the whole thing (86MB) or I can email you just the section you need.

alright, ill try to put up a mini DIY here.

Tools needed:
a flat head screwdriver
somewhere to store push pins so you wont lose them

First step: open your hood
Second step: remove the 6 push pins on the top of the grill, and the top of the part beside the grill. put them somewhere that you wont lose them

Circled in red:

Use a flat head screwdriver to remove it. a picture is worth a thousand words.

After you removed the 6 push pins, pull the grill forward and you should see 2 clips on each side of the grill holding it in.

Get your flat head screwdriver and put it in this hole:
(its a mirror so your screwdriver should be pointing toward the side of the car, not towards the center.)

after that, just twist it and pull the grill back and you should get the clip out.

Repeat this on the other side of the car.

After, pull the grill forward again and you will see this:
(left side only)

there are 3 on the left and 3 on the right, which makes it 6 in total.

you can use your index finger and thumb to hold the clip and you will feel the part where it is holding onto the front bumper. if you want, you can try and use your finger to push the part in so you can take the grill out but your fingers will be sore really quickly. an alternative is to use the screwdriver to push the bottom clip up so you can release the grill:

you will want to pull the grill forward (Not Up) while you are pushing the clip in.

after you get all 6 clips out, your grill should just come right out.

Do whatever you want to do with it, then repeat the steps in reverse to put it back. Except you dont need to use any tools, just push the clips in.
