is it recommended to remove the negative cable from the battery for the ECU?? Because i installed my popcharger like a year ago and i never removed the battery so the ECU can reset. Also would reseting it do anything to my car?

it will rest ecu parameters, let idle an youll be ok

so i should take off the negative cable for a couple hrs to let the ecu reset since i havent done it since i installed my popcharger like a year ago.

There are other methods of ECU reset, though I'm not sure you need one with just a z-tube or popcharger install. Search.
