Topic: Castrol Edge rebate. $15 for 5x 1qt or $10 off 5 qt jug

I picked up the 5qt container at Walmart as the other good deals include the filter (which I already have stock of).

Edge at Walmart is $26.50. I picked up some 10w 30 to try next

Rebate http://www.castrol.com/castrol/secti...tentId=7055585

Mobil 1 was $22.50. Penzoil Plat was $20.00 (great deal)

Seems to be a lot of good deals out there on oil these days.

Edge is probably one of the top brands right now. With the rebate ($10) for the 5 qt jug, $16.50 is a steal.

Thanks for this! I just picked up a jug of the Pennzoil Platinum from Walmart, but I'll give Castrol Edge a try now too. Kinda hate waiting for rebates but it's hard to beat wal-mart on prices for oil. I've even seen a few commercials where they're trying to push DIY oil changes now. No wonder all of small mom and pop stores hate them.

Do you get your oil filters there too? They only have the low end Fram filters at my local walmart so I usually have to stop by kragen or somewhere else also.

Since it came out Castrol Edge is all I've put in my car. Prior to that I was using Castrol Full Synthetic. I have been very pleased with Castrol oils.

I don't get my filters there. I go to fleetfilters.com and buy the wix in bulk(ie.. 6 at a time). Which is the same as the Napa gold. A high quality filter.

Well for one, there isn't an Advance auto in my state. But that's a good deal if you can get it. Not sure about having those monkies touch my car though

^ No, never let those idiots near any car you care about. That was to buy the oil and DIY. Bummer you don't have an Advanced Auto though.
