This may be a stupid question. Does the escutcheon (pointed to with arrows) below fit in a 03/04? Not going to be disappointed if it doesn't, but it might look a little better than the skinnier piece in my 04.

Are any other interior pieces interchangeable? I would rather have an 04 any day, so I couldn't care less if you try to rub your 05 in my face.

I've been considering getting some trim from Home depot and give that a shot.

I don't even know why it's there on 03/04 you can barely see it.

 

its like double the thickness, I doub't it'll fit.
