Electrical Problem? Need help

Hey Guys,

Newbie to the org here and just picked up my 2006 G35 Sedan with 6MT this weekend with 17K miles on it.

This morning when I turned on the car there was so dew or condensation on my rear window so turned on the rear defogger and the radio totally cut out and was totally static. Changed the radio station to every major station and same thing would happen.
Once I turned the defogger off the radio stations would come in nice and clear.

Anyone ever had this problem or heard of it before?

Thanks for your help guys!

Weird. I'm sure you're aware that the radio antenna is integrated into the rear glass (where the defroster is too). That is very weird, they must be interfering w/ each other. Any idea if the car was previously tinted? Wonder if the rear elements were scratched/nicked from the inside of the car, could be causing this? Just a guess/thought.

BKZ - yea car has warrenty but wanted to see if anyone has heard of this issue before or knows what it could be.

JimmyC - Yea I am aware of that and doesnt seem like the car was tinted prior to me having it. I checked the 'lines' in the rear window and they all seem in tact.

Very werid. Thanks for your posts though guys.

If it doesn't look like the rear window is damaged in any way or previously replaced, then take it in for a warranty repair.
