I am also new

Hey guys

About 2 weeks ago I picked up a 2003 G35 Sedan and I finally decided to sign up to the forum after a week or so of lurking

The car:

2003 G35 Sedan
Green exterior (I dont know the formal name of the paint. Something 'Mist' I think)
Beigh leather interior
66.6k miles
Fully loaded minus Nav and heated seats
Picked her up for $11k + tax and reg

I dont think I can give you an honest opinion about the car because my previous car was a Jeep Compass (don't ask) so, to me, I've been driving a Rolls Royce for for the past 2 weeks

Random facts about me:
Im about to turn 23
Live in Los Angeles
Far from a serious car guy, but thats not to say I dont love cars
SN is Doberman because thats my dog

Anyway that should cover everything and if not feel free to ask away. I look foward to being a memeber

Sure did.

I have a few minor prob with the car but they are mostly cosmetic. A scratch here and there and the rear door seal is loose at some points. My biggest concern is one of the windshield wipers hitting the hood because it slams so hard down. I'm pretty sure its the motor so I need to get that taken care of before our 2 week - long winter comes around lol

Haha, you're one of the only American EM Sedans. Both Wayne and myself are Canadian, and we're tho only EMs that post frequently.

There is a DIY for the wiper thing I think, do a search for wipers slapping or something might find it!

I am getting a tonne of work done on my car right now so, be stoked to see it.... next year lol

lmao

I read a lot of your posts while I was lurking because your car is the same color as mine and your AV got me in trouble with my SO after I asked her to put on a bikini and wash it. For some reason she got mad at me because it was November... Go figure

If you buy a premier membership you have access to tonnes of fun stuff..........if ya' know what I mean.

Quick question... Does the 03 play MP3 cd's? If I can avoid paying to hook up my itouch, that would be great.

Mine doesn't

I have the belkin tunebase, it works great. Way better than other FM transmitters, you pay for it but hey, it's interchangeable between cars!

if you don't get her to put the bikini on and wash the car for your avatar - you lose your log in privileges...

But you probably already read that in the fine print when you singed up.

Well, it's all fun and games at first... then, sometime around your 200-300'th post, you will have a strong and unyielding need to modify your car. This is known as the "Mod Bug" and despite the claims of some, it will never go away. The good news is, you'll learn all kinds of cool stuff about cars... the bad news is, you're gonna be broke

Also, if you think somebody is being argumentative or hating on you, just check their posts, they're probably that way all the time.

Have fun!
