Off Topic: Will a 42" TV fit in my G35 Sedan trunk?

2006 G35: I have no ride to go pick up a 42" flat panel TV tonite and am wondering, do you think I can get the box in my trunk maybe most of the way? The box is probably going to be bulky since they pack TV's with lots of styrofoam, etc. so it will be larger than a 42" TV. If it will fit partially, how should I secure it so it doesn't fall out of the trunk? Can I use a bunge cord or two and if so where would I hook it to? Thanks.

I fit a 47" LCD in the box in my backseat...BARELY. I had to shut the door really slowly/carefully to make sure I didn't break it. A 42" shouldn't be a problem.

Go back seat. If that doesn't work angle it from back seat to front passenger(put the seat all the way back).

Don't be a cheap ***, get a 63" and remove your rear windshield. Make sure its facing your rear view so you can watch tv off that 6" widescreen rear view mirror. You might have to turn off the autodim.

I thought that he was trying to install the tv too! anyway, i bought a 42in and it fits if you remove the box. You can fit it in the backseat. Use the styrofoam to protect the places where it touches the screen.

It won't fit while it's in the box. It might if you take it out of the box and disassemble the stand.

Unless you are looking to buy a 42" projection???? Hahaha

if the box doesnt fit take it out of the box and slide into the backseat ..
and fold up the box and packing materials
and save it just in case you need to return it for whatever reason ..

if you are getting a plasma, do not, I repeat, DO NOT lay it flat. this can be damaging to the tv. the tv must be standing upright at all times.

this is an expensive investment. spend the $50 and have it delivered.
