Blacking out my headlights

Just wondering if anyone has done this (I see G35Lin has) and if it is a difficult/long process to pull out the assembly, also if anyone has noticed loss of projected light as a result.

Also would like to know what type of paint has worked out best since the plastic is reflective, will the paint stick. ie did you sand, etc.

Any pictures of this work in progress?

Re: Blacking out my headlights

hehehe u r right. I have done this It is a painful process. Difficult not so much after the first headlight. Just more nervous and afraid that i am going to kill the headlight than anything. I think its easier on a sedan though. Just my own opinion.

I used primer and then spray paint. Worked out well
