I'm planning on picking up a coupe mid-pipe and was wondering if it would fit through my trunk into the foldaway rear arm rest.

Yup, no problem if you have the ski pass-thru. IIRC you have to have the resonator part in the car, then poke the pipe through into the trunk. Cover it in something to protect your interior, of course.

Thanks! I'm off to find some crappy bedsheets to cover this bad boy.

Use something thicker in case something pokes out and tears the leather

i fit mine in the trunk through the pass-through this past weekend. I used an old pair of jeans to protect the leather/car and put the curved part through the pass through at an angle, resonator end in the trunk, not in the passenger compartment.

yup mine fit just fine, i wrapped the end up in my old pea coat so as not to worry about the leather.
