Brakes service under warranty

I was having intermetint squeek noise from the brakes and took it to the dealer. They ended up changing the brakes and rotating the rotors. I have 25.5k miles on my 03.5 G35 S.

They said the front pads were .9mm and rear 1mm. Does anyone knows the min limit on them?

The also rotated the rotors and they are now 22.49 mm. Anyone knows the low limit on the rotors?

The front padS are blue in color, the back ones are greyish.
Info from the invoice:
Pad kit front 41060-AM891
Pad kit rear 44060-AL586
Anyone knows if they are the improved version or the same as the old ones
Thanks all in advance for their replies : )

Re: Brakes service under warranty

Front rotor 24mm new, 22 mm replace
Rear rotor 16mm new, 14 mm replace
Front pad 11mm new, 2mm replace
Rear pad 10mm new, 2mm replace

If they were to change to a longer wear pad material, the stopping distances would increase. Then they could be sued.

The front pad thickness is already an upgrade from what Nissan used in the past ~~9.5>10mm now 11mm.
You purchased a car per reported stopping distances, only you have the right and liability to redesign.

Thanks for this info Q45tech

The invoice said 22.49mm for the rotors after rotation and they are underspec.

I guess they are right but the rotors only have 0.49 before they go under 22mm. Why did they not just change them if they were so close. I thought the spec was lower than 22mm but it seems I will be changing the rotors in next 10-15k from now

Re: Brakes service under warranty

Q45tech,
Another thing is that now when I reverse my front brakes makes a medium pitch squeek sound that did not exist before. This is usually the first time I reverse after driving or starting the car. Does not happen again when reveresed repeatedly.

Is this normal because of the new brakes or should I go back?
I am just tired of taking the car becuase they end up keeping for 3-4 days and beside I feel everytime the car comes back it seems to have more small scratches etc.

They rotated your rotors? Do you mean they 'turned' your rotrs?

Why would they replace them when they don't have to. They are still serviceable.
