Lip only. And don't do a hood and roof in carbon (or if you do the hood only leave a tiny amount of carbon showing)

I don't think tons of CF looks good on a sedan, or with EM. If you want to go CF crazy, do it on the Z.

Since the trunk is pure carbon, I am going to see how it looks in full carbon and if it looks too weird, I'll just paint it. I have a feeling I will end up painting it, but maybe a summer with full CF will do.

So I take it you're going with the Hikkatadori then? Or are you having a lip shaved in?

why stop at a trunk?

gotta get the door:
http://www.myg37.com/forums/finer-li...ith-biometric-

and as long as your getting the door, get the $4400 briefcase:
http://www.carbonfibergear.com/sched...ber-briefcase/

and dont forget the underwear so your farts dont stink:
http://www.carbonfibergear.com/carbo...test-material/

and what CF fan doesn't have a toilet seat:

then you must have CF glasses!

and a CF mouse pad

"Carbon Fiber" - marketing lingo for "sucker fabric".

OC, you're aware my trunk isn't not being wrapped in CF... It is actually going to be carbon fiber.

I know you hate carbon fiber so I'm not really sure why you even opened this thread, you knew what it entailed...

And no, that's not a poke to start an argument of your opinion of CF.

you implied I had no business in this thread... I simply stated that I read the title...

If that's not obvious enough, there's no point in continuing this back and forth...

I posted my opinion - it would have ended there... but we can go on and on if you'd like. If not, you didn't need to respond with an implication that I shouldn't have responded to your title.

IMO CF is an over-hyped product that 95% of people use for reasons it wasn't originally developed for... but its marketed that way, so people go gaga over it.

Just my .02

It's shiny and has depth.

I agree with you though, it hyped to **** like kryptonite but it's nice in small doses. Which is why I was so unsure if I wanted a full CF trunk, a painted trunk with full CF or a fully painted CF trunk. I figure if I am going to make a CF trunk, why not expose the sexy CF. It's not like it's a wrap and it's some poser wannabe CF.

We'll see how it looks when it's done. I'm still unsure if it will look good with green... Your colour of car on the other hand craves CF and if I drove your car it would have subtle pieces (like seibon fenders with a slight CF fade)

That's a lot of CF in one post.

I love the look of wet carbon. If I could do my whole car in carbon I would.

To each their own but I, for one, sure like it!
