LEDs could also be warmer or cooler than you think.

I still want to do some more LEDs in my headlights, but those will wait until have the projectors.

Not a fan of "Angel Eyes" on any other car besides BMWs. It just doesn't belong, IMO.
I feel mods such as "Angel Eye" or Audi Style LEDs make you look like a poser or wannabe.
You have a G35, not a BMW, not and Audi.
Unless the LEDs were an option from factory, I'm not very fond of people putting "Angel Eyes" and Audi Style LEDs on their cars.
99% of the time, the LEDs aren't functional and glare like crazy.

Xentec, a very popular brand, 8000k on the G looks like 6000k in most cars cuz the way the reflectors are

Don't get me started on camera's with you. Hopefully someone bought you one for christmas!!!

All my DSLRs show all LEDs I've shot more white than anything. Maybe it's a canon thing..

To your post a page back, wouldn't that mean your car isn't murdered? Sicne you have some gun metal going on?

To me, murdered is always going to be flat black, with everything black including exhaust and matte tails. Only projectors since reflectors are silver and all the way down to the rotors having a black mount. mmmmm

^ I ordered a new camera but it didn't arrive yet. Gunmetal is pretty dark gray is not like a bling bling oem chrome. If my car isn't considered murdered out cuz my emblems are gunmetal so be it, but there's no chrome on my car, unless you wanna call the reflectors chrome, but I don't care cuz I think gray and black is a sick combo so nope I won't be murdered out in the summer with gunmetal coupe 19"s. Oh and my rotor mounts are black.

looks ok, but angel eyes just dont fit our cars well. BMWs only. Just like the audi light strips really only look good on the audis. Im sure eventually infiniti will do something of its own to follow that course.

Angel eye reliability??

Hi guys, been lurking on this forum for 9 months and learned a lot from everyone. This is a great forum! I have done the Pop charger & tube intake, exhaust, spacer, rear sway and UpRev mods so far and the G35 gets better after each one. Love the car and might even do a supercharger next year. Also since my car is black, I blacked out the grill, tinted tail lights and tinted the glass to 20%. Car is understated and looks great. Not bad for a $18K low option car I got used last spring. Oh, one last mod I just did over the holidays - a double din GPS radio receiver with rear camera, bluetooth and 7" display. Very nice. Really made the car into a modern vehicle! I have the mod fever I think. Thanks to all the posts, I learned a lot and had fun doing it.

I am now focusing on the lighting scheme and would love some input. I want to add the angel eyes mainly for safety as DRLs on the black G35 and I think it would look good with them. Just an opinon and I know some say not to do it. Since I have had a 540 and three Audis, I have the right to think and not care if passer-bys think it makes the G35 a ricer. I just want it modern and safer to see....my humble opinion.

Does anyone have experience with the Umnitza V2 angel leds? FISHRFun indicated he had reliability with his and wonder if these would do better since theses are version 2 ?? What were the ones you do not like?

I am thinking of taking apart my 06's headlight units (oven baking) to paint the background black, change out the amber for clear lens and do the angel eyes all at once. Anyone have a source for the clear lens? Any thoughts on reliability as I do not want to have to go through what FISHRFun did and remove them in a year.

Thanks in advance for any thoughtful inputs.

not my cup of tea if i were going to risk cracking open the stock headlights to put halos around them i would have put some kind of projector retro fit in them it would also make the halos seem more at home than in a plane stock housing
