to the folks contemplating 3.7 gears, what is the primary motivation for making the switch? obviously there will be an improvement in acceleration, but that comes at the cost of lower fuel economy & higher cruising RPMs. the 3.7+ upgrades makes a ton of sense for folks who track their cars and i'm not trying to dissuade anyone from making the switch. it just seems that herd mentality is driving a lot of discussion.

3.7FD seems to be the best compromise of PROs vs CONs for N/A 5AT guys. if i can't find one, then i'll still be happy w/the 3.5 w/vLSD swap.

i should be going to japan in march for three years, hopefully i'll learn some vq tuning gather some parts come back and put them on my car. So i hope you have a mods for 2013 list, i'll be all over that.

I'm sticking to what I got. I'm already at 3,250 - 3,300 rpm at 80 mph and with just test pipes and a muffler it's loud enough for a cop to pull me over. Gas mileage isn't all that great as it is. I so wish the 7AT was out for the previous gens.

pretty sure the 7AT for the 1st gen was available overseas w/paddle shifters

In no particular order... full nismo aero kit New 20" mrr wheels 05-06 tails and reverse lights megan headers & titek racing cats ivory pearl paint job double dit kit & full audio visual coupe seats (passenger & driver)....i think that's it...for now
