coolant question..

so the other day i noticed my coolant was near the "min" part... so i went ahead and added some... thing is i added way too much.. and the lil tank was a bit over the "max" line... is this bad?

No. But... you might have some coolant overflow from the reservoir tank when the coolant in the radiator heats up and flows into the reservoir. It's not under pressure in the reservoir tank so it will just drip out and make a little mess around the tank which you should flush with water. You might end up smelling some of it inside the car when running the fan, but eventually it will pass.

you can siphon the extra coolant out with a $2 turkey baster or battery filler.

or, you can take off the one bolt that holds the reservoir down, lift it up and disconnect that little hose for just a little bit so that the coolant comes out
