who painted it in the first place. Doesn't look well prepped at all since the CB underneath looks pristine. You're TB paint shouldn't have fallen off in a flake like that.

Easily repairable though man, I vote repair.

^^ I know. I was the victim of a chitty paint job to begin with. I could see that when the paint started flaking off. The CB underneath is as smooth as can be. Obviously there was no prep work done at all.

That's good to hear because a repair is what I would like to shoot for.

What they will most likely do;
Heat the bumper up and pop the dent out, then if there is any damage to the reverse side they will probably lay some fiberglass on it to prevent it from anything down the road. Then make sure they fully strip the bumper down to the plastic and reprime it and paint it.

Doesn't even look like they sanded it the first time. Douches.

They didn't do chit to the bumper. I'll never go back to that shop again nor recommend it to anyone. The paint started chipping a couple weeks ago.

This time it's going to a very reputable body shop in my area.

Make a thread in your regional forum which shop so others can dodge them in the future.

My paint cracked and flacked when the cooler fell on it in my garage and when i bumped a snow bank last week. As far as i can tell, my car has never been repainted either.

Im getting a repaint this spring though.

^ just the way it flaked off and showed a totally flawless CB paint job underneath, all paint has a harder time sticking to poly, but sticking to clear coat is a completely different story.

That repair is an easy fix for any shop. Just heat up reshape and wipe a little putty to smooth out. Only thing is to make sure the last paint job come completely off due to the lack of preparation. Id have it fixed and if anything sell it and use the money to get something aftermarket.

^^ They are no longer available. They were discontinued by Nissan/Infiniti. Best luck is to find one here for sale.
