Installin New Driver Side Mirror

hey guys,

Just wondering if I can get any insight on how difficult this is? This will honestly be my first time working on a g35 as it is my girlfriends car. I'm not new to cars however. I own an s2000 and work on it, mod it, etc all the time. Any tricks or things I should be aware of? Her car is a 04 Sedan too. I'm already putting on a new bumper and fender for her this weeking but I'm hoping to tackle this too. She broke her's completely off with it just hangining by the wires. I'm assuming removal of door panel is needed. Thanks for the help though.

Thanks in advance, Eric.

I know for the coupe taking the door pad off makes it more friendly. Some cars you can just pop off the tweeter cover and get to everything just like your s2000. If you can tackle a bumper and fender then you got the mirror in the bag.

I don't think you have to take off the door panel. I haven't taken the mirrors off mine, but I have taken the door panels off and the tweeter cover is a seperate piece. I would start by taking that off first, then see if you have to take off the door panel.

I just did a coupe the other day and the door panel is in the way of taking the tweeter cover off.
