I wouldn't want to trade... but I'd definately like one for the wife, especially when we're ready for a second child... FX45 FTW...

Depends on what you are looking for, if it's performance over luxury keep the G. I have the best of both worlds, my wife drives the FX.

I don't like being that high of the ground, and I have no need of the extra space in the FX. Barring a change in my circumstances, my answer is...NO!

I love the FX, but I can't see me modding the FX in fear of taking away some of the practicality. There are are a few that are just stunning on here though. Also, the interior is a huge upgrade over the G. I think I'd say no though, the G is still new to me.

Not for me.
If I was going to a vehicle in that direction, I would want more utility than sport.

I would trade in our Honda Pilot for the FX..lol. But the wife wants the extra row of seats so they can stay folded down all the time....?

no.

if i needed an SUV, it would be because i need ample cargo & passenger space. i have been in a few FX's and i have to say that they do not offer much of either. my wife's CRV has much more utility, albeit in a less flashy package. when we need to start towing the boat then the CRV won't cut it. but the FX can only tow 3500lbs so there's another strike against it.

Okay so we are supposed to choose based on your "dilemma" you never bothered to clarify?

I might, always wanted one and living in New England it would be a better dd. Would also open door to a dedicated summer car that I could build. Would also slow down the mod bug.

To elaborate on the dilemma, I am in need of a bigger vehicle that offers little more room vs my current g35 sedan. I love my g35 but often times i discover
trunk space limitations where i have to make additional arrangements to accommodate its less than amble trunk space. On a recent short trip with my g35, I had to make constant adjustments where I grew tiresome and frustrated. So in planning to stay within the Infiniti family, I was leaning toward the fx35 since it shares same attributions as the g35 sedan...
