I def do not like the color matched mirrors (entire base). Makes the car look like it's been repainted and the shop just sprayed everything
It looks ok to me

I considered doing this theme but decided against it cause I already spend the money on the color matched bases. If you go with the gloss black on the bases and mirrors, I think it would look best if you did the chrome trim pieces around the window as well in the same color. Then it would flow better like it does on the coupes

DO IT!

Car looks good, but if it was mine i would have left the bases black. I dunno just my thing i guess. Where there is a border (the chrome trim) and the mirror is sort of part of the window, i prefer it black to blend in...esp with a tinted window.

I just like painted mirrors on black pedestal bases. My thing i guess.

But don't take that as a knock against your car...it looks great

Oh no, I didn't take it as a knock at all. Everyone has their own personal preferences. I just do what I like

I know what you mean by the division of the window and the mirror. I still want to black it all out (including the mirrors) someday.

Ashley though.....should do it!

Gloss black, but you must redo your grille and the same for the headlights.

^But then I couldn't go with matte black on my wheels, and I really don't like gloss black wheels.

great minds think alike. Ashley remember that sick white G37 coupe?. He has gloss black accents everywhere and his wheels have a matte black face and Ivory Pearl lips and the rims dont interrupt the flow of the gloss black accents at all

^True... but I'm not sure about the upkeep of the gloss black grill. So far the matte black has been really easy to keep clean and fairly chip resistant.

They are tinted 20% back and 35% upfront. I should just do 20% upfront to match the back. Oh and it's 43 degrees here today....Norcal weather is a little different from SoCal

Ashley, matte black wheel centers with gloss black accents all around will totally flow.
