Frickin' Tickin!!!!

Hey all, so I've come in here a few times to ask a question about a ticking sound...everyone was in agreement that it was probably the compression rod...however, I took it to the dealership and they said they checked it and it was fine...

So now I don't know what to do. I think it's getting worse and it's starting to drive me nuts.

I've recorded a soundclip---I hope someone on here can help me out with this. In the clip, I'm in first gear, accelerating with like 25% throttle and then decelerating. The ticking sound happens in both situations.

My only other guess is that maybe the axles are clicking or something.

Anyway, onto the show!

^That is the worst file sharing site I've ever seen!!! Scared I was going to get a virus!

Please take down that link. If you email me the file I will be more than happy to put it on the webserver that hosts my car club's website. (No popus, no BS)

get the rear axle checked. I had a horrible ticking when I did backed up, went forward, put it in gear... got the axle tightened and it stopped.

Thanks for the heads up.

And nfsp1 I'm sorry about the weird link, I tried about five other sites first, and it wouldn't load on any of them.
