FYI, it's spelled "Deployed".
"Diploid" has a completely different meaning.
Commonly used in the study of genetics used to define an organism with two pairs of chromosomes, one from the mother and one from the father.
I clicked this thread expecting to read a baffling question about the chromosomes of airbags.
