Search the Audio, Video, Sat and Nav Forum for the "PAC" module which connects to both SAT inputs, providing you with 2 sets of RCA female connectors to connect whatever. You'll also find where to purchase, and DIY instructions.

 

Better idea than the PAC, something called the iceLink from Denison. Apparently, it lets you have complete control over the iPod controls from the steering wheel controls as well as providing clean audio through your SAT input and powering the device.

Two problems:
One is that Denison's website lists it as backordered. You might want to give them a call to see if that is still the case. The second is that is seems like the device might need a little more development to truly be a great all-in-one car solution.

There are several G's around that have installed this device. Sorry, but I don't remember exactly who.

Coincidentally, I just hear about that system for the first time twenty minutes ago on a National Public Radio article.

I have not considered an iPod for the car before but having it integrated with the steering wheel controls sounds very interesting.
