Repainting is extremely expensive, and I agree, that IP is a nice color, i have a BS and I'm not really feeling it that much but repainting is way out of budget

thanks for the replys guys and yea actually i hav been doing a little a color research online at different whites and i would like to go with a different white with a pearl or maybe even the bmw alpine white or a lexus white would be awesome. ivory pearl was just a idea of the color. i really like desert platinum just not feeling as much anymore. and every white car has made me want a white g35 and i have black rims and a black roof which i plan on keeping so that would look clean!

^If you really want a white sedan, just sell yours and buy a one in IP.
And take it from an IP owner, if you actually do go through the trouble of painting yours, don't do IP, choose a better white.
There's a coupe somewhere on here that's a satin pearl white, I'm kinda fond of that look.

Don't waste your money painting it! You'll just lower the resale value and waste the money

I never understand this argument. The resale value isn't going to be great even without repainting it. Also, as long as he gets a quality paint job I don't know that it would even lower the value too much since everybody knows the OEM Infiniti paint is crap.

If he wants to repaint and has the money, I say go for it.

I think it's entirely subjective. Depends on the buyer....it also depends heavily on the color and quality. Some colors have better resale than other colors.

Some buyers don't like color changes where they pop the hood and the bay is a different color. Other don't care at all.

Also, if you paint a car white from black, you still have a market of people who want a white car. Now if you paint a car lime green, or bright *** yellow..you may lose interest in that color because of the color...or you may find increased interest.

I personally don't like color changes unless the car is stripped and EVERYTHING is sprayed. That's just me

Just sell/buy a pearl white sedan. IMHO, the differences inbetween other maker's colors aren't big enough to really notice.
