Is there an alternative for Molykote M77 grease? Looking for fix axle click

Apologies in advance for the misspelling in the subject. I'm looking to re-grease my drive axle to see if it would solve my clicking problem. Since Molykote M77 is nearly impossible for the general consumer to purchase, is there an alternative which can be found at major auto shops? I've done some quick research and found Permatex. Unfortunately, I have no experience with this so I'm hoping someone could shed some light on this.

Thanks!

McMaster-Carr sells virtually everything

I've heard Loctite C5-A copper anti-seize can be used as an alternative...but don't take my word for it

I'll split it with you and we'll have endless lube for brake shims and drive axles!

Citgo Lithoplex MP wheel bearing grease is the best thing to use in this application. I work for the parts dept. at ramsey infiniti and we use this in place of the molykote grease on all customer cars.

Yea, any wheel bearing grease where it says "moly" anywhere on the tube will work.

Oh yeah, my wheel bearing is shot too. It's not too bad to replace. The only thing you'll have to get done by a shop is pressing the bearing on the hub. I bought the bearing from Infiniti of Greenwich (noticed you were from CT). Pending installation.

Where do you usually get your car work done if you don't do it yourself? It would be nice to know of a place around Fairfield since I work in CT.

I'm in central CT about an hour from Fairfield. I do all my work, but will go to Heart Infiniti for some things.
