is there a way to remove the chrome trim around the door so that i can just paint it?
Never done it, so I'm not sure. Somebody that knows will probably post. Or ask OCG35, his is done.

also what should i use to re-apply the Fuji emblem?
3M mounting tape

and did you mean paint the mirrors or just the mirror base
No I meant paint the mirror body AND base both gloss black.

also ill be getting the sedan roof overlay from (BlueBatmobile)
That'll work, but why not paint? It's usually not THAT much more.

^You probably won't be able to get it quite that cheap. I did, but I was having other work done at the same time, and I have a crazy-awesome hookup with a body shop.

I would paint the grille emblem gray to match your car masking off the inside so it stays black off course oh and drop that biatch. Another option with the window trim I blackout tape from pepboys but you need to order flat black viny sheets on ebay to cover the far rear part of the window trim cuz the blackout tape is not wide enough to cover that. But since your accents are gloss black it would look much better if you get em painted gloss black

if i can take em off ill have them done in a day but im scared to just try and pull them off so im going to have to paint them while they are on the car and that going to be a pita to do without messing up my whole car.
ill just leave that for now and get back to them later on

Lol, how'd you make it to "college"?

But yeah, it'd be more expensive than $100 unless you go to Maaco or something.

my friend had his mustang painted there and it looks great right up to the point where you touch the white stripes and feel the ridges in where the two paint colors meet

^ I think he meant just the "I N F I N I T I" letters. Those are easy. It's the emblem that has pins (holes in the trunk)

we have a winnah,

I have heard of using a heat gun or just threading dental floss behind the letters. Open to ideas

yep, wait for a warm day, heat it some, use some goo gone or rubbing alcohol on the adhesive and carefully pry them off..and clean up the rest of the goo. Some people have used floss too..

i didnt even use a heat gun
dental floss on a resonably warm day and goo gone on the residue
let it set for a few seconds and just rub off the residue, took me a total of 10-15 min and i was done
i know some people had the I N F I N I T I shade left over but i dont even have a hint of that

on a side note painting the side skirts today
