i plan on getting either an 05 or 06 sedan in the near future. i know the 05/06 has major uprades over the 03/04s. but people tell me there arent many differences between the 05 and 06, so im wondering if it would be wise to get the cheaper 05 and save money? i mean if the only differences are minor things like the lights or dashboard then i really dont need an 06

also, i saw this car on autotrader a while back and instantly fell in love lol. not sure what year it is, either a 03 or 04. im not an expert on body kits so can you guys can let me know what kit that is? even though its basic and not anything special, thats the kit i plan on getting.

here are the pics. thanks

Differences are really just in the options if you go premium. I'd do the '05 if it's cheaper, unless it's got the premium package, since you'll get bluetooth with the '06 premium, but not the '05. If it has a DUAL button on the a/c controls, it's premium.

The one pictured is an early '03 due to the doggie door on the trunk.

Bluetooth in the 06 sucks so don't make that a factor in your purchase. 05-06 are virtually identical but the 06 is a year newer. They may still have some factory warranty left.

The 03 has the Nismo kit made specifically for the 03-04 cars. You can get replicas from a couple of our vendors here for the later models.

As others have mentioned, Bluetooth is available but is HORRIBLE in the 06. ALSO...G35X in 06 got the upgraded brakes like the RWD 05-06 G35 Sedans.

^Not really.
This is the one you want:

That takes care of the front bumper. The side skirts are interchangeable across 03-06, so that's not a problem. And the rear can be swapped with a little work
I went 03 to 05 http://www.nfspmotorsports.com/forum...php?topic=28.0
Marcus (CandlestickPark) went from 05 to 03+Nismo valance https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...-rear-lip.html

The nismo rear is very hard to find since is discontinued, your best bet is to get the 03 bumper with a stillen rear valance

^He's right. Nismos are hard to find.
The 05 rear is fine by itself though. Especially with the splashguards. Whether or not you go with the stillen (or any other rear valance for that matter) should depend on the color of your car and the look you're going for.

I found in looking at on-line ads the easiest telltale signs to see are the adjustable rear head rests, Bose stereo, a/c vents in the rear of the center console and seat controls on the outside edge of the drivers seat.
