Excited that I got my side sills for $250 painted and delivered. Although do most of the cars keep the black rubber piece at the bottom of the door or remove them?? See pics. Now I need to take care of the front and rear, wheels and tires and maybe a couple inch drop. Oh yea and find that annoying rattle in the rear deck lid and go ballistic on it.

 

from other nismo sills ive seen. they keep them there. i think it looks good like that

I took mine off. But I'm on painted OEM sides.

 

I guess the body shop must have painted mine when they did the sills.

 

I kept mine black, i know G35papa color matched his..

Did the guy you bought it from not want to sell the front and rear bumper?

 

IMO...leave the black trim or paint it to match. If you remove it, it will leave a shadow there and be more noticeable than just leaving it black.

 

I have the factory Nismo and My rubber strip is on there. I barely notice it and looks good...there was a thread about people buying OEM nismo from a guy on ebay and it was pretty cheap. May not have your color so you'd have to paint. Search it...
