Its about that time

My car is reaching almost 70,000 miles now and im in search of purchasing new rotors and brake pads. Is there a popular brand that many of us G drivers use?..im looking to get some pads that are going to eliminate as much brake dust as possible, and is it common or likely to have black rotors?

All i know is the aftermarket brake pads equipped on my car squeel really bad. Its so annoying. Supposedly they are just a hard compound, but either way Im going to use oem brake pads when they need replacing.
I never notice any brake dust on my aftermarket pads. Sorry I dont know what brand they are.
I too would like to hear recommendations for brake pads.
