Sedan vs Coupe Dynos?

I'm aware that on the road the Sedan is almost as quick as the Coupe.

But my question is on the dyno does the extra 20 horsepower and 10 torque. I am assuming that it does, or there would be a uproar like they did with the Miata or the Rx-8!

Reason for the questions is that I'm still afraid Nissan will pull a quick one on the 05 X that I have on order!

Re: Sedan vs Coupe Dynos?

I am going to have to go with NO difference between coupe and sedan since most of those guys had 18" and larger wheels on their sedans.

Re: Sedan vs Coupe Dynos?

There's a definite difference between the two ... Coupes make more power ... stock for stock. Our dyno day results were done w. Dyna Packs, in which case NO wheels and Tires were invovled in the equation.

Perfect ... that's what I want to hear ... so worse case scenario is that my 05 sedan will be putting out Coupe numbers on the dyno!

Re: Sedan vs Coupe Dynos?

I don't see why not if one's rated 277 and other 280 (for ATs). As for the 6MT models ... they're both rated at 298, so there should be no differences other than production variance one would expect.
