that is one thing i cannot understand with the g35. It shoulda been badged a nissan 350 gt or something. No way in hell a luxury even entry level can be so dissapointing in the interior department.

but like i said before, performance does not dissapoint at all.
I love the interior in mine and only have one noticeable rattle coming from my passenger side door. It takes all of 15 minutes to remove the door panel and slap on some foam tape. I wouldn't say that was reason to not buy this car.

Also, these are 4-7 year-old entry level luxury sedans being picked up for a third of their original cost. It's not like we are buying a $60K M56 and hearing a rattle on the way home from the dealership.

Yeah the G35 rattles, but if it bothers you that much and you dont have a problem pulling interior pieces apart, you can fix most of the rattles with stick on felt as described in DaveB's thread. I'd rather drive a rattling G35 than a wrong wheel drive Acura TL. FWD completely ruined that car.

The G35 is a mid 14 second car, while its not a rocket, its still plenty fast for a daily driver. I have an 05 RWD G and have survived 3 Chicago winters with snow tires. I honestly prefer RWD w/ snow tires over FWD. The G35 is the definition of true sports sedan and you get alot for the money.

i've read this before, very informational thread. However, why the hell would the consumer have to do all that when it shoulda been done from factory?

This shows that nissan neglected all these problems for years. I could understand having all of these rattles from the 03-04 years, but 05+? they should have definitelly worked on this for the 05+ years. I'm pretty sure a lot of g35 owners have indeed complained about this before, but yet they decide to do nothing about it.

I could totally understand it if it was badged a nissan, i've driven a 2000 maxima for 6 years before my g35. My maxima had very minimal rattling, and about the same amount of wind noise coming from inside the cabin, but then the car was never labeled a luxury sedan. so that was totally understandable, but in the case of the G35.........NISSAN! what the heck were u thinking!? LOL

I think they did work on it for 05+. My car only has one noticeable rattle. From what I've heard, the 03-04's have multiple.

don't let a few squeaks or rattles deter you from the G35. if you don't want squeaks buy a brand new car and trade it every 2 years. my '04 with w/51k miles has no obvious or annoying squeaks (knocking on wood) and is quieter than any previous car i've owned.

my 04 G35 sedan with 70k miles and it runs perfect. Don't blame the car; you take care of it and it will take care of you.

Good price, RWD, sport inspired, looks damn good, I don't know what else you can want.
