'03-'04 sedan need to change springs to as high to stock as possible! help
SubscribeHi,
my '03 g35 sedan has the current setup- 2006 coupe's front and rear shocks/struts with 2006 coupe's revised springs front rear 342/427, everything else is stock, oem sports wheels of 215/55/17.
Since is quite hard to find those '03-'04 sedan sport springs, if I only want to change the springs, back to as high as possible, what would you suggest, I do not want to get the non sport '03 springs with the soft rate.
I look into after market sedan springs that drops like 1 inch all around that would work?
also I think someone have to update the specs in some sheets. Compare of a '03 g35 sedan with oem non sports suspension (shocks+springs) was like 3-4 inches taller than put on '06 coupe's suspension.
please help

That post gave me a headache. Please state your questions in a more succinct way.
Did you get rid of your old springs or what?

I have OEM non-sport suspension if you want it cheap... springs have very low miles (less than 10K), struts have maybe 30K...
The other way I can do it is just the Sedan's sport suspension springs only.

So you want a softer spring with either a stock ride height or very slight drop, right? Since the coupe springs you have on now have given you only about a 1/2" drop your easiest route might be to replace the rear springs with some base coupe springs since they are not as stiff as the sport coupe springs you have. And it may seem like it to you, but unless something is really wrong, no way is there 3-4" difference in ride height from sedan sport to coupe springs.
I'm not sure what aftermarket springs will give you little/no drop and a near stock ride height.
Or, as you say, to return to sedan sport springs in which case you should put a WTB (want to buy) thread in the marketplace for sedan sport springs.

Having a hard time trying to understand your situation here... I just put on 06 coupe non-sports springs+shocks, I noticed the rear is lower than I expected but not by 3-4 inches. Can you post some pics to show us?Originally Posted by liweih21
